を「Do you want to hang out tonight?」

「hangout」は名詞で、「たまり場」というような意味になるので、「Where is your hangout?」

1.Hey, let’s hang out!

2.You wanna hang out tomorrow?

3.I love hanging out with you!

    Hi Luke,
Your entries are always helpful. I’m wondering how you would say “遊ぶ” if a person is in his/her 50s or 60s. I’m curious to know because I’m in my 50s! Does he/she need to say more specific, I mean, “I had shopping with my friend, or I had lunch with my friend” or something like that? I learned that you don’t use “play” when you meant to say,”遊ぶ.”

      Hi Michiko,
みちこさんが言ったように「I went shopping with my friend.」
      I hope that helped.

Interesting! The phrase, hang out, posess the nuance of spending an enjoyable time at somewhere. So we can confirm friendly feeling by asking counterpart with this phrase.

There are different styles of travelling but people may prefer one style then other. For example a man going to Bali and whole family going to Bali. Let’s think why are they going to Bali. The reason for a man going to Bali is probably he wants to relax in quiet place or he wants to swim for fun. The reason of family going to Bali is probably they wants to hang out with children at ocean. So each person, each family has different part for travelling.

My family loves to travel. We went to New York and Dubai last year. Our family also has a part for the travelling. My dad said the travelling is not only for fun, you needs to see and learn how big the world is. When I went to New York, I saw a lot of tall buildings. Actually I needed to check what company owns The Empire State Building but I didn’t check, usually a famous company would have a tall and big building. While I saw the famous restaurant called subway. Singapore airport also has subway so I compared with New York subway restaurant but taste was not that different. My mom’s part for travelling is shopping and family’s health care. Health care is really important for travelling because not clean water is makes you derriere or high fever. So when you go to restaurant clean your dishes, glasses, spoon and fork with tissue or wet alcohol tissue for preventing from disease.

There are a lot of different purposes for travelling. They’re not only for entertainment but they can be for educational and business purposes. If you are travelling for entertainment purposes you should probably go to restaurant, hotel, amusement park and somewhere relaxing. If you are travelling for business purposes you might look for contracts or deals at company. Lastly if you are travelling for educational purposes, you should probably look for museums, historical sites and famous schools together more information about different countries and their culture. As you can see travelling can be useful for many different purposes.

Travelling is not always a perfect paradise that you are seeking. It can be very dangerous and risky at times. If you don’t have the visa or the paperwork to go in the place, you might be in big trouble. I suggest you research well before you actually go in the country because you might get arrested or be fined with large amount of cash. I suggest using a tour guide or a group because they will give u an Email saying what you need and what you need to be careful of. In my experience, I once used a tour group and they asked me what to bring. After we bring what we were asked to bring, they will sort everything for you quickly and correctly. They know the place very well because most of them have been doing that job for over 5 years especially if you are going to Europe, Africa or America. Places you are not familiar of. Lots of places in Europe have lots of pick pickpockets and buglers and they will constantly ask you to be careful. Imagine if you didn’t know about that factor when you are travelling. I think you would probably lose something for sure. As I stated here, travelling alone can be very dangerous but there is a tour guide always there to help you.
