“刑事事件は現在検査中です” means I think it is “現在捜査中です”
検査 is mainly for testing something.
And how about “あなたは今から取り調べを受けています”
“今から” means “from now” so the thing sounds not started yet but “受けています” sounds already starting.
I am not sure about the legal procedure but it means “あなたは今から取調べを受けます” or 今あなたは取調べを受けている最中です” ? I dont know the scene for the sentence to be used but probably the latter is the one.
